Nova Litora
Land on new shores. Build what comes next.
A living hex settlement - roads, fields, territory and settlers at work.
A settlement game in the spirit of The Settlers
Your expedition set sail from the north and washed up on shores no map has named. Nova Litora is a real-time hex-grid settlement game in the tradition of The Settlers II, rebuilt for today. You do not command soldiers so much as build the roads and workshops that keep everyone fed and moving - and watch porters carry every good along the roads you lay.
- A carrier-and-workshop economy: production chains from log to loaf to blade
- Settlers, housing and population that grow with your colony
- A living world: seasons, weather, day and night, wildlife and events
- Roads, territory and fog of war to push back
- A deterministic simulation - built for replays and lockstep multiplayer
- A stylized low-poly look - pure eye candy and great performance
Always one shore on
Instead of one map after another, a branching continent of worlds awaits, joined by portals. Move on to the next shore and explore what lies beyond - and you may find that setting out here carries more with it than you would expect.
Built to be tinkered with
Under the hood it is all open: the whole game is a mod runtime, its content written in Lua and TOML and open to change. And because the simulation is deterministic, the same start plays out the same way every time - the foundation for replays and fair multiplayer.
